ok girls...getting discouraged. I have been to the gym almost every day and have not lost one stinkin' pound. I have lost some inches but I want the pounds to come off!!!!
Still at it. My parents bought me wii fit to add to my journey...funner than the gym but not as productive.

update

I am having trouble getting accurate measurements on a lot of these because we don't always get the same spot. I am sure of the waist measurement though because I go by my belly button but anyway here they are....

hips 47 (same)
waist 46 (lost 2 inches!)
under boob 41 (plus 1 inch???)
boob 47 (I dont' think this is right because last time it was 44 so that is plus 3 inches???)
thigh 25 3/4 (lost 3/4 inch)
arm 15 1/4 (same)

Anyone have a good idea on how to get better measurements so they are in the same place every time?

I have worked up to working out for 1 hour every day. I d0 30 minutes cardio (bike) and 20 reps each circuit machine and about 10 walking the track to cool down. Tues and Thurs I am doing water aerobics for 1 hour in place of the other stuff.

Still haven't lost a single pound...blah! I know everyone tells me that will come but that is the part I care about!!!!

yay me

Went to the gym every day this week but yesterday...yay me!!! Haven't lost any weight though yet :(
I'm keep working on it though!


Measurements when I quit:
weight-220 (didn't lose a stinkin' pound)
Waist- 45 3/4 (stayed same)
Arm- 15 1/2 (stayed same)
Bust (with boob)-46 (-3/4)
Bust (under boob)-40 1/2 (stayed same)
Thigh- 25 1/4 (stayed same)
2nd short-term goal-10 pounds loss by Feb 15th
long-term goal weight-150 lbs

Restart measurements;
Weight 220 (no gain)
waist 48 (up 2 1/4)
Bust (under boob) 40 (down 1/2)
Bust (with boob) 45 (down 1)
hips 46 (not previously measured)
thigh 25 1/4 (stayed the same)
arm 15 3/4 (up 1/4)

Of course lost in the boobs and no where else ha!!!
Weigh in tomorrow so I will update.

This weeks workout:
30 minutes on bike 1 round of the circuit equipment- missed one day this week. Feel great!!!

I'm back!

Ok I'm back. I didn't gain on my little hiatus from weight loss so that is good news. But if you look at how much I could've been losing it is discouraging.
I started the gym yesterday. I have been 2 days in a row and I am LOVING it. I always dreaded the whole idea of going to a gym but it has actually been such a nice break from real life and actually relaxing to just think of nothing for an hour.
I have done 30 minutes and 6 miles on the bike and then 1 round on the circuit which takes about another 15 minutes. Not huge but baby steps. I am just trying to make healthy choices on eating but not stressing over calories or carbs or any of that. I have increased my water a ton and cut back almost completely quit drinking soda all together.
So yay me!
Oct is creeping up fast (Shawn's 20 year reunion).....eeeekkkkkk!
I am still at 220...measurements to come.

I'm a loser!

I'm a quitter! I haven't gained any but haven't lost any more either. I need to get re-motivated. It isnt' like I shouldn't have motivation...friend's wedding in Sept, Shawn's reunion in Oct, and just feeling better all together. I am hoping when the weather gets nice I can start getting more active and spend more time outside instead of eating in the house out of boredom.
